Here at the studio, there seems to be no opportunity to get bored since energies are focused on creativity and productivity. Probably because of the pottery equipment which saves time and improves project quality. Especially since there is the potter’s wheel, hand-building, extruder, and slab roller. Finally, the fabrication tools come in handy like the table saw and drill press. Most lessons are held in separate areas that are clean and organised. In conclusion please visit my web page for class and lesson details. https://www.malcolmgearstudio.com/pottery-lessons/
Find what you’re looking for we have pottery, sculpture, photography and drawings to enhance their collections. Also noteworthy is that artists are welcomed to exhibit in the gallery. Maybe when visiting the Niagara Region’s Welland drop in and say, hello.
My choices when working three dimensional are bronzes, clay and re-purposed materials. Recently I became a finalist for a public art commission at the Center for Addiction and Mental Health in Toronto. It will be a stand alone sculpture for the hospital interior.
Analogue Photography and Drawings
Analogue photography including the pinhole cameras and drawing are processes I can help. The Real Transformers series of drawings can be found on this website. These drawings were made using pencil and/or charcoal which allows expressions like no other medium. I also enjoy the challenge of analogue photography both in 35mm format and handmade pinhole cameras.
